Bought these to have a pair of around the house shoes that have an arch support. I had admired a different style that a friend really likes. I wear them with a light sock and find them very comfortable, although a little hot sometimes. At first I was concerned that they were a bit short, although I did purchase my normal shoe size. Now that they are 'broken in' they are fine in length, but now a tiny bit wide in the heel. The support is great though and prevents the lower back ache I sometimes get when I spend too much time barefoot.
